Our History
"While camped out at home during the early days of COVID and cleaning out the garage, we recognized the voluminous amount of old sporting equipment we had collected over our 13+ years of participating in youth sports. Whether basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, lacrosse, or soccer, there were lightly-worn cleats, semi-used balls, too-small-for-me-now baseball bats – you name it. We soon realized that there was an untapped opportunity for collecting used sports equipment and donating it to underserved youth programs in our community. The by-product was the birth of Second Row Giving, a not-for-profit organization geared at providing athletic equipment to the students who need it most. "

Our Team
Over the past years, Second Row has grown into an organization with four ambassadors each attending different schools within the greater Los Angeles area. Together, our team has worked to help collect over $23,000 in equipment and supplies.

How we collect our equipment:
Instructions:
1. Collect your used sports equipment/school supplies – can be anything from balls, gloves, bats, etc... to backpacks, pencils, and calculators.
2. Reach out to our email (secondrowsportsgiving@gmail.com) to schedule a pick up time
2. Leave your donation at your doorstep and we will come to collect them
3. There is no deadline as we continue to collect donations year round!
